Pharmacists are experts in the

and are also trained to deal with
a wide variety of minor ailments
and illnesses.

Patients who are exempt from prescription charges on an income basis are able to access the scheme, which involves a consultation with the pharmacist regarding the presenting symptoms. The pharmacist will provide you with evidence-based advice and information and, where appropriate, free medication to treat the ailment.
